Mental Health First Aid Training.

In the UK, one in six children aged 5 to 16 years old are estimated to have a mental health disorder, which can have a severe impact on their wellbeing and quality of life. This number will continue to rise unless proactive measures are taken to… help children especially when it has a negative effect on their education. In 2021, school attendance figures showed that 20% of pupils missed school in the previous academic year due to mental health reasons.

We are working in partnership with other organisations to provide mental health first aid training, for adults and young please.

Sowing Seeds is really passionate to ensure that our children/parents and community understand that mental health needs to be at the forefront of what we do, and how children will succeed.

As well as the training sessions we will be holding, we also host workshops for parents where they can gain support from professionals, other parents and understand how to deal with situations.
